Refurbished with immense care and attention to detail by its owners, Seniors Cottage provides very light, practical and spacious accommodation at ground floor level. The main living rooms enjoy superb, far-reaching views across the surrounding farmland and there is a large lawned garden adjoining fields. The cottage is a short distance from the owner's farmhouse and nearby stables yet affords privacy to its guests and feels quite secluded.

Entrance hallway. Sitting room with an open fireplace containing a woodburning stove. Very spacious and well equipped 'living' kitchen with dining area. 3 bedrooms - 1 double with a (5ft bed), 1 twin and 1 single. Bathroom/wc. with independent shower above the bath. Rear entrance lobby. Utility room. Extra wc. 'wetroom' cupboard for coats, wellies etc.

Looking out across acres of undulating pastureland grazed by sheep and horses and beyond to the wooded hilltops of the Wiltshire/Dorset border, Seniors Cottage is peacefully situated at the end of a long farm track, well away from busy roads. This part of southern England, where Wiltshire blends with Dorset is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, much appreciated for its unspoilt downland and contrasting sheltered valleys. This is a lovely area to explore on foot, cycle or by car and there are many pretty villages with stone and thatch cottages where historic country pubs with good restaurants are still plentiful. Seniors Cottage also provides a very central touring base, being within two hours' drive of London and less than an hour from the South Dorset heritage coastline. It is also an easy drive from Salisbury, Bath, Stonehenge, Longleat, and such hidden treasures as Stourhead Gardens and Old Wardour Castle.

The Saxon hilltop town of Shaftesbury, famous for the cobbled street Gold Hill and with spectacular views across the surrounding Dorset landscape, is only 3 miles and offers comprehensive shopping facilities. Semley itself is an attractive village with a closely-knit local community and a pub, village school and church.
